About Us
When someone asks us who we are...
we usually start by describing the role we play in someone else’s life or in society. But who really is Karen without her university degrees, without the people around her, without the achievements and failures of life; simply, in essence? She is a woman who bases her actions on love, an indefatigable dreamer, and a lover of nature. I love sunrises, walks in the forest or by the sea, genuine conversations, and warm, selfless company. I deeply enjoy moving meditation. I like to move my body and exercise, it makes me feel even more alive.
I am a woman with many facets, and over the years I have learned to embrace each one with love; not because they are perfect, but because they are part of who I am. They teach me and transform me. Those darker shades within me help me recognize my light more clearly.
On this fascinating journey called life, yoga entered my world more than 15 years ago, but it wasn’t until 6 years ago that I truly saw it for what it is; a philosophy of life. That’s why I became a certified yoga instructor. I wanted to know more, learn more, and go deeper. The practice had a healing and regenerating effect on me, and I felt the need to share it with the world.
That is why I created Ekafusion Yoga. In recent years, my yoga practice both on and off the mat has allowed me to meet incredible people. We have shared our energies through the practice of asanas, connecting through our unique perspectives, and recognizing that to give of yourself to others, you must return to yourself, to understand, let go, and make space for all the good that the present moment offers. Ekafusion is that space, a place for those who want to live their life to the fullest.
